On another episode of: things that never happened,

or did they?


Saturday or Sunday, many many many moons ago. I used to go to the bafu na towel pekee always wondering how women always walked around in skirts. So after showering it was free mode mpaka kejani. Kwa buloti, it was a communal bathroom so you had to carry your bucket. Na ukipata mtu yuko ndani, unapanga laini.


On this particular day nilikuwa nimechemsha maji niko ready kuingia kwa bafu, jirani beat me to the bathroom by seconds. I left my bucket full of warm water hapo nikiwa frustrated then nikaingia kejani kutime akitoka, naruka ndani. Asubuhi gets chilly so you can't just hang around there waiting ukiwa kifua iko nje, umejifunga towel pekee.


Akamaliza nikaskia mlango yake imefunga, nikakimbia bafu fasta fasta maji yangu isipoe, ingepoa ingekuwa balaa. Kumbe she was not yet done, alikua ameacha karai yake na maji hapo ndani arudi kuosha kifuniko. Mimi naye nokatoa hio basin nje nikaingia kwa bafu, this is not a private bathroom you can just enjoy the luxury of kutumia vile unataka. Nikavua towel nikarusha hapo juu ya mlango.


Nikaanza kuoga, maji moto is just glorious, kwanza na hii baridi. Sasa huyo madam akakuja after some minutes, akapata maji yake iko hapo nje,


“huku hamna heshima kwa vitu za watu!!”


She said loudly with like 100 clicks per minute. Mimi sipendi quarrels so I was just silent, akiwa huko nje ana rant, mimi nasugua slippers after kuoga. Shetani alingojea tu kuskia masauti za kufua akajua ni boksa naosha akavuta towel akaenda nayo akaweka kwa hanging lines, zilikuwa tu apo nje ya bafu ndio watu waanike panties and boksas.




NB/: Wet boxers are only okay kwa swimming pool. Hata ukiosha na maji moto bado its not a pleasant feeling.


Guys. That was when I decided bathrobe plus towel combo ni muhimu nikienda bafu. Kama si audacity full throttle, singetoka kwa hio bafu. Niliamua kama mbaya mbaya, nikatoka hivyo hivyo, nikaenda hadi kwa nyumba, sijui ni kustuka alistuka, ama ni nini, but she couldn't stop staring at me venye nilikuwa nampita.

Nimeona picture kwa meme fulani, ikanipeleka tour down memory lane. Many moons ago, nikiwa primary.
