  People out here are angry, really angry. I know this is no way to start a story, but relax it's heading somewhere, I promise. It's a chilly morning and I'm at a bank waiting for my turn to be served, service yao ilikuwa imeanza kusumbua from Monday, but hey, that's a story for another time. I could feel like I was a bit out of place, you know? because the last time I remember I was in a bank was many years ago, when I was on campus, paying for my fees. Mzazi aliniamia bana, alijua ningepata guts, temptations za kukula fee ingekam, ningejua venye ningeilipa. So where was I?  Oh yes, there is this guy who is seated like 2 or three seats away from me, bigger and older than me from the looks of it, looks like a business man, or in lay man terms jamaa wa madeals. After a few minutes waiting, he starts getting impatient, and frustrated so he starts complaining, why is the service taking so long, can't they go a little faster, and so on and so forth.  I'm seated ther...

This week we are heading into a day that we are celebrating our heroes, there are a couple of people that I view as my heroes. 

You should know by now, that each single one of you who enjoys reading fascinating stories on Letstoriesunfold, my bro, Davie Karr, and my other bro, who goes by Ragz, are on the list no doubt. 

The two heroes I want to highlight today are Dedan Kimathi and Mr Daniel Wambua Ndambuki, better known as Churchill. Dedan Kimathi was a badass, who was very tactical in warfare. 

One quote that he said is 

“It is better to die on your feet than to 
live on your knees.”

Moving on to the next hero. What inspired me about Churchill, is that he saw that he could not make people laugh all by himself or for a long, so he put together a team of people who could enable him to spread laughs and cheer. 

Letstoriesunfold borrows a leaf from him, and at various intervals, you have seen and will continue to see stories from different people on this platform.

Continued from..   Death at a funeral I’m no wolverine who could heal quickly from a stab wound so I didn’t want to take my chances with the knife. As the rough and husky man directed me on where to go, I noticed it was like time had stood still, with chaos beautifully painted. Nanuka, niko mchafu, usingizi, kitu nataka ni kufika tu kejani nioge, nipite kwa mathe nikule, nilale. Nafika hivi ploti, watoto wa jirani wakinicheki wanahepa tu wakilia, kwani nakaa mnyama nini? Wamama wa ploti, najua wameshapata story mpya na mimi, but haidhuru, watabonga kisha watalala. Venye nimeshiba, napiga shower nitoe stench na misuli inyooke kidogo kisha nalala. Nastukia mlango inabishwa, kuangalia saa ni saa kumi na moja jioni. Nimeona picture kwa meme fulani, ikanipeleka tour down memory lane. Many moons ago, nikiwa primary.
